The 2021 Krutz Chardonnay is an unfiltered blend between the new world Old Wente clone and the old world Montrachet clone. Aged texture that balances the present and refreshing acidity. Tropical fruit and the expected minerality from the Soberanes Vineyard are on full display with a backing of subtle oak and a lingering finish of lemon zest.Vineyard Notes
Located next to Gary’s Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands, the Soberanes Vineyard is a joint venture between the Pisoni and Franscioni Families. The site features tightly spaced vines and is planted to 33 acres of world renowned clonal selections of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah.
