Our 2019 Cabernet is one of the most powerful offerings we have produced. The heat of the summer guided the grapes to an easily extracted and rich profile. It is a full bodied wine with a dynamic tannin structure and rich black fruits with a backing of vanilla from the French oak barrels. Young and dominant, this wine will likely age better than us.Vineyard Notes
Georges III Vineyard is one of the oldest and most storied vineyards in alll of Napa Valley. Planted in 1895 by Mrs. Thomas Rutherford, the 300- acre parcel was first purchased by Georges de Latour in 1928. It was the home of the greats Rutherford Cabernets made by the famous Andre Tcheslistcheff for Beaulieu Winery. Since 1988 the vineyard has been owned by the Beckstoffer Family.| Vintage | 2019 |
