Description
Georges III Vineyard is one of the oldest and most storied vineyards in alll of Napa Valley. Planted in 1895 by Mrs. Thomas Rutherford, the 300- acre parcel was first purchased by Georges de Latour in 1928. It was the home of the greats Rutherford Cabernets made by the famous Andre Tcheslistcheff for Beaulieu Winery. Since 1988 the vineyard has been owned by the Beckstoffer Family.This beautiful duet includes one bottle of each:
2023 Krutz Cabernet Sauvignon 'Beckstoffer Georges III', Napa Valley
Sourced from the historic Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard, this Cabernet Sauvignon reveals layered aromas of dark fruit, led by ripe blackcurrants and plums, with a savory complexity and a strong sense of place. Full bodied and beautifully structured, the palate shows well integrated tannins balanced by fresh acidity, leading to a long, polished finish with a clean mineral edge.
2024 Krutz Sauvignon Blanc 'Beckstoffer Melrose Vineyard'
This distinctive old-vine Sauvignon Blanc from Rutherford captures the varietal character and regional pedigree, with expressive stone fruit aromatics. Matured in 75% new French oak, it delivers both vibrancy and depth. Layers of honeydew, ripe melon, and white peach glide across a bright, textured palate, culminating in a beautifully refreshed and balanced finish.
